No publication date, but must have been published in 1897 or earlier, because in 1898 Collier added his son to the name of the business. Green boards decorated with gilt, which has mainly rubbed off on the spine and parts of the front cover. Corners of the boards are bumped, and the book has a small (1/2-inch diameter) stain on the back cover. Suffused with an aroma of pipe tobacco. Pages are unmarked, and except for the aroma, the book is in remarkable condition.
