Petite set of five volumes including four volumes of poems and a fifth volume with essays on poets. Vivid royal blue textured cloth with gilt lettering and decoration on spines, blind stamped decorations on covers, all edges gilt, frontis portrait of the author in volume I, publisher advertisements at beginning and end, books just over 5.5 inches tall. Lovely unfaded set, good to very good condition, with some minor expected wear to the extremities, tiny closed tear to spine foot of volume II (no loss), good hinges, sound text blocks, foxed endpapers but pages clean and free from foxing, name of Jeanie D. McKee, Frankfort, Ky dated January 1868 on each front free endpaper, no other markings. Hard Cover. Good. 24mo - 5" - 5¾" Tall.
