Item description from seller

All volumes are light tan tree calf bound with five ribs and two red plates with gilt text on the spine. The top plate says 'Swift's Works," and the lower plate has the volume number in roman numerals. Color-illustrated end pages. Black-and-white copper plate illustrations. Volume fourteen, 2-379 pages. Volume fifteen, xxxi, 2-486 pages. Volume sixteen, viii, 2-431 pages. Volume eighteen, viii, 2-415 pages. Volume nineteen, viii, 2-419 pages. Volume twenty-two, viii, 2-448 pages. Addendums to this series on Swift's work. The first twelve books were originally intended to be the only ones in this series. Later, thirteen more volumes were added as reprints with corrections. These are the reprints with corrections and updated (as of 1765) information. Volumes fourteen and fifteen were considered as 'Volume One;' volumes sixteen and seventeen were considered 'Volume Two;' and so on. VG-/VG-/./VG-: All books have wear to the edges and corners. All have a plate on the front pasted end page. All have tanning and foxing to the pages. All are well-bound. Volumes eighteen and twenty-two have light blue ribbons that seem to have been attached to the book- if this is the case, the other books are missing this satin bookmark. Three of these bookmarks are folded into the pages of volume twenty-two. Volume fourteen is missing the lower plate. The top plate is lifting. Crack along the front edge of the spine. Crack down the middle of the spine. A small amount of leather missing from the bottom of the spine. Volume fifteen is missing small portions of leather at the top and bottom of the spine. Cracking along the edges of the spine. Volume sixteen is missing small portions of leather at the top and bottom of the spine. Missing about three-quarters of the title plate on the spine. Cracks to the front and back edge of the spine. Volume eighteen is missing small portions of leather at the top of the spine. Crack along the edges of the spine. Lift to the leather in the lower right corner. The front free end page is coming loose and should be handled with care. This is the only page with binding issues. Volume nineteen has a loose top headband. Volume twenty-two is missing small portions of leather at the top and bottom of the spine. …
