Limited Edition #642 of 1000 copies. .The cover has a small pen mark and the corners are lightly bumped, the base of the spine is lightly shelf worn and there is light spine fading, the rear cover has a couple of small bubbles in top. The fore edge is rough cut as is the bottom edge and the top edge is gold gilt. The end papers are clean and bright. The frontispiece is of "Mr. Western visits Mr. Allworthy and has its tissue paper intact; there is also another picture on page174. The interior pages are clean and tight as is the spine. 340 pp. Seller Inventory # 000296
