Smartly produced one volume edition of Lamb's works. 712 pages printed in dual columns yet very readable with small but fine clear dark type. Gilt stamped lightly soiled canvas spine with slight rumpling to edges. Gray cloth boards in good shape with minor sunning/soiling to edges, with only one corner very minorly bumped. Hinges fully intact. Interior is near fine with no markings or foxing, with only fault a small 1 x 1 cm tear (paper not lost) tear in upper right corner of first separate blank front end page. Tissue protected frontis portrait of Charles with engraved title. Includes Letters, Poems, Essays of Elia, etc. A well-produced large quantity book expertly designed to be read and built to last.
