Volume I is the Letters of Charles Lamb, reprinted from the edition published in 1837, edited by Thomas Noon Talfourd and with his original Preface; Volume II contains Final Memorials of Lamb, also reprinting Talfourd's Preface dated 1848; Volume III contains Essays and Last Essays of Elia; Volume IV contains his remaining prose and poetry.
