Neuware - Still Working in Wine is a candid, funny, and deeply personal look at what it actually means to build a life in the wine industry, from someone who lived every exhausting and exhilarating minute of it.Over the course of twenty years, Hillary Zio worked nearly every angle of the wine world: restaurants, retail, wholesale, consulting, content creation, and eventually opening her own wine bar. Still Working in Wine pulls back the curtain on an industry that often looks glamorous from the outside but rarely tells the whole story, from chaotic late nights as a sommelier in New York City to raising a family while running her own restaurant in the Hudson Valley.Part memoir, part industry confession, the book explores ambition, identity, aging, modern dating, grief, motherhood, and the strange realization that nobody, no matter how polished they appear online, has it all figured out.Sharp, self-aware, and often very funny, this is a book for wine lovers, hospitality workers, entrepreneurs, new parents, and anyone who has ever wondered whether they're still becoming the person they thought they'd be, or someone else entirely. …
