The book examines the extent to which organisational work life balance policies contribute in reducing work related stress among staff in an international organisation setting. In particular, it investigates whether work life balance policies help to alleviate work related stress among support staff in the World Bank Kenya Office context. Furthermore, it explores the importance of work life policies beyond how they are applied, by shifting to look at ways in which work related stress can be mitigated through the effective application of institutional policies and programmes.
