First edition thus hard back binding in publisher's original black leather covered boards, blocked and lettered gilt back and front. 8vo. 8½'' x 6''. Wood Engravings by George Mackley 1981 reprint of 1948 edition on the mechanics of wood engraving. Contains 134 + ii pp with monochrome illustrations throughout. Just a little rubbing of the gilt to the covers, else in Very Good clean condition. Member of the P.B.F.A. WOODCUTS & ENGRAVINGS.
