From the Author
Several years ago, I had a bizarre illness, and for nearly eighteen months I was essentially incapacitated. All I could do was sleep. I was up a few hours a day, but mostly I slept and dreamed. During that time, teachers came in the dreamscapes and taught me about dreaming. I learned that I had never been fully awake in my life. Ironically, this illness imposed sleep helped me dream myself awake. After many years of verifying (with Native American, African, and other indigenous living people) and testing the teachings of this dreaming period, I have written The Woman's Book of Dreams to share the teachings with you.
Here are some of the other things you'll learn:
You'll learn that the position and phase of the moon are the primary determiners of the content of the dream.
You'll learn that men and women dream differently and why.
You'll learn that there are thirteen types of dreams, only three of which are personal. In fact, most of your dreams are prophetic, mystical, universal and sacred.
You'll learn about an ancient prayer form called Dream Circle which helps you understand the collective and philanthropic nature of dreamtime.
You'll learn the dreamer's spiritual practice, which allows you to align with the intention of your soul.
You'll learn to read your dreams as letters from you soul designed to remind you of your life's mission.
Enjoy!
