We do not have video or photographic records of Jesus' life, nor do we have a definitive biography--only glimpses offered in the gospels. Even though Christ remains one of the most frequently written about figures in all of history, it is impossible for us to understand the mystery of his life. As we approach the Lenten season, author John Timmerman invites readers to walk upon ground that God has provided for coming to know his Son.
In Woman, Why Are You Weeping?, renowned author John Timmerman examines Biblical names and titles given to Jesus in the gospels. These daily meditations provide glimpses that help reveal Jesus in images we can comprehend, and they give insight into the meaning of the cross and the resurrection.
