Cort sima. Y, adem s, mucho menos divertida . ENGLISH DESCRIPTION Revised and extended edition of a great book about love, heartbreak, and Laura Ferrero and Marc Pallar s' artistic creation. Perhaps, though this is mere supposition, the only valid response to heartbreak is what the path of art offers. Heartbreak causes suffering, disorientation, even anger. And this happens to all of us, but there is a series of people, all of them artists (writers, painters, sculptors, actors, musicians), who realized that pain after a breakup became the spark that ignited their creativity. In this revised and extended edition of Love After Love, Laura Ferrero's literature converses with Marc Pallar s' illustrations in the portrait of these privileged characters who knew how to turn sadness into creative genius. From Sylvia Plath and Ted Hugues, Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin, or Idea Vilari o and Juan Carlos Onetti, to Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal, Madonna, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Amy Winehouse, and Blake Fielder-Civil, in every true story in this book, art appears as key element when it comes to overcoming a breakup and moving on. As Laura Ferrero says in the epilogue: Often enough, unsurprisingly, we thank the existence of these people we group under the grandiose title of 'the love of my life.' From here, a small nod to the others, those who wait under a less sported umbrella, 'the heartbreak of my life.' Without them, art history would be short. Too short. And also, much less fun.
