Paperback. From World War II Germany to current day Maine and the Steaming Florida Keys, WINTRY MIX explores the genetic impulse in all of us to lie, cheat and steal. Most people are looking for a shortcut, but never plan for the violence that often comes with it. Every once in a while somebody pulls it off, but you never hear about them because the folks who get away clean don't tweet about it. These six New England crime stories examine why otherwise good, honest people, sometimes make deadly decisions. WINTRY MIX combines violence, love and money in new and uncommon ways. And yes, sometimes the love is about the money. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
