The book follows quite closely the general arrangement of the original edition of Abbott's Forms, which is probably the most widely useful form book which the code lawyer has yet had. Many of the forms contained in that work have been inserted herein without change, and many with such slight changes as are made necessary by differences in the statutes, and to these have been added forms adapted from other standard works, as well as many which have been sustained by the courts in actual practice.

While care has been exercised to obtain accuracy, it is fully realized that some mistakes and omissions are inevitable, and the author will be glad to be notified of any such errors which may be found by his brethren of the profession.
