Paperback. The Neuroscience of Peak Performance, Success, and Happiness Why do some people win all the time? Why do others languish? From Olympians to Formula 1 drivers, addicts to billionaires, cognitive neuroscientist Dr Kerry Spackman has spent decades working to help people understand how to succeed. In The Winner's Formula, Kerry explains what goes on in your brain when you are developing a skill, and what happens when you don't deal with pressure correctly. He uses his experience with F1 drivers to illustrate how the brain works in competitive, stressful, and fast-paced situations, and how this applies to whatever skills we are learning in our own lives. Even if you have no interest in sport or becoming a champion, The Winner's Formula contains surprising insights rooted in neuroscience that will show you how to rise above your natural talents and be successful regardless of what you are passionate about, whether in business, science, art, or anything else. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
