Synopsis:

A baby kestrel gets abducted by a lonely child who eventually thinks better of it. We follow the growth both of the bird and the misguided child.

About the Author:

Alan Brown was born near London, but has spent all his adult life in the North of England. He loves open and wild countryside and now that he lives in Sheffield, he spends a lot of time in the Peak District. His hobbies are walking and tennis. He started to write for children after his own two were grown up: ‘I think it’s a way of keeping their childhood and mine alive in my mind. I hope readers enjoy my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.’
