The Wind & His Word is a lyrical journey through the seasons, where a young girl named Ruby wonders whether the wind carries God’s voice.

As spring awakens, she hears songs of hope. In summer, the breeze seems to proclaim joy. The autumn wind, crisp and knowing, speaks of change ahead. While winter’s hushed breath invites her into peaceful rest. With each passing season, Ruby listens, feels, and discovers a truth as steady as the wind itself—God is near.

Perfect for bedtime or seasonal read-alouds, this poetic and faith-filled picture book invites children and families to reflect on the quiet ways God speaks through His creation. Rich with sensory language and gentle biblical themes, The Wind & His Word encourages mindfulness, wonder, and trust in God’s presence through every season of life.

Will Ruby’s heart recognize the whispers carried on the wind?
