Paperback. What happens when a gust of wind meets a child's imagination? In The Wind Makes Me Magic, a child steps outside on a blustery day and discovers that the wind can transform an ordinary afternoon into an adventure. With every whoosh, swirl, and sudden burst, familiar surroundings become filled with new possibilities. The wind does more than tug at clothes and toss leaves through the air. It invites the child to move, pretend, experiment, and see the everyday world with fresh eyes.Written by Diane Goodman, who has spent years helping children discover the pleasure of books and stories, The Wind Makes Me Magic captures the spontaneous way young children blend imagination with physical play. Ideal for children ages four to eight, parents, grandparents, and teachers can use the story as a springboard for screen-free imaginative play. The book encourages active participation rather than quiet observation alone, making it especially useful with children who learn through movement and play."Diane Goodman captures how something as ordinary as a breeze can spark creativity and joy. This book is a valuable resource for teachers and caregivers seeking to encourage outdoor activities and reduce screen time. I highly recommend it for readers ages 4-8." Ramona Melody, Former Director, Cayman Islands Public Library Service A child steps outside on a blustery day and discovers that imagination can turn ordinary moments into wonder.
