Reclams foreign language reading keys follow the proven construction and presentation principle of reading keys to German literature. They refer to the foreign language original text (if possible in Reclams Red Series), but are written in German and also support the reading of the German translation. A checklist includes tasks for comprehension control in the foreign language. Underneath the presentation text are translation aids and key terms in the foreign language to facilitate the processing of these tasks and a foreign language referencing about the work.
Reading keys open up individual literary works. Around an interpretation as a centre, 10 important understandings are grouped:
* Initial information about the work
* Contents
* People (constellations)
* Factory construction (structure sketch).
* Word commentary
* Interpretation
* Author and time
* Reception.
* Understanding check checklist
* Reading tips with movie recommendations
* Space for notes.

Romeo and Juliet are the epitome of pionate love, are the love couple par excellence. Shakespeare's tragedy depicts the heavenly ecstasy, but also the boundaries of love through family and societal counterimages embodied in the male-dominated groups of the Montagues and the Capulets. And last but not least, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is a ravishing language artwork, a great love poem in drama form.
