The story of William and Mary is told by their granddaughter Rosamond (Mrs Ormond Wilson). It shines with humor and affection, but has no gloss of sentimentality; it gives a new insight into the life and work of one of New Zealand's most honorable early statesmen, and into the changing character of nineteenth-century New Zealand society (from the blurb). DJ. DJ a little worn. 150 pages.
