Unstated edition, indeterminate printing due to absence of any number line. 9-1/2" tall, 160 numbered pages. This book is in good-to-very good condition: the exterior is square, reasonably clean, free of edge dings and corner bumps; hinges are strong and not damaged in any fashion and with an undamaged spine; however, the vertical lines that, on a hard back book would be called the gutters, are darkened (see photos) but there is no damage beyond the cosmetic appearance. Except for an inked name/date/city on the copyright page, and a small return address label on the inside of the front cover, the interior is perfectly clean and completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and any sort of paper damage. Not remaindered, ex-library or a Book Club edition. Binding is strong--the spine is not cracked and there are no loose pages. After the short Foreward, virtually every other page is a beautiful color photo of some item in nature, paired with what seems to be selections from Thoreau's Journal.
