Daniel L. Belnap is a professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University and teaches courses on religion, ancient Near Eastern religions and texts, and biblical methodologies. He received a BA in international relations and an MA in ancient Near Eastern studies from BYU, as well as an MA and PhD in Northwest Semitics from the University of Chicago.
