She fell in love with a man the island will never let go. Now the thing that holds him is failing.
Wren Baker has the life she never dared plan for; a cottage at the end of a ferry line, and Clyde Cooper, the patient, blue-eyed man who is also the golden stallion protecting Saltmarsh. Their love has already cost him his freedom. He’ll pay it again tomorrow.
But the great oak that holds the island’s oldest bargain is dying. Night after night, something older than love calls Clyde into the dark, and Wren is learning how to love a man the island gets first. While the Song falters, enemies with paper and money are circling everything they’ve built.
Second chances aren’t only for the young, either. Wren’s mother steps off the October ferry certain her heart closed forty years ago. A courteous lawyer with a covered dish begs to differ.
Some loves you choose once. On Saltmarsh, you choose them every tide. WILDBOUND continues The Saltmarsh Circle; a slow burn shifter romance, fated mates, found family, and second chances at every age, in the Gullah Geechee Lowcountry.
The tide is turning. Come home to WILDBOUND.
