Paperback. They were not wicked. They simply were not wise - and it cost them God's best. From Samson asleep in Delilah's lap to Lot pitching his tent toward Sodom, Scripture is crowded with good people who made ruinous choices - not from malice, but from a want of wisdom. We often guard ourselves against blatant evil while completely ignoring the quiet, subtle drift of foolishness. In Not Wicked, But Not Wise, Z. D. King walks readers from Genesis to Revelation, tracing how folly, left unchecked, slowly curdles into something far worse - and how the fear of the LORD, a heart that hearkens to His Word, keeps a person safe from the slow drift into ruin. This book is an urgent wake-up call to a church that has traded biblical discernment for cultural convenience, demonstrating that small compromises always yield massive consequences.Through powerful historical narratives, character studies, and theological insights, King exposes the hidden traps that catch well-meaning believers off guard. You will discover how to identify the early warning signs of spiritual drift, cultivate a discerning heart, and build a life that withstands the cultural tides.Honest, pastoral, and steeped in the Scriptures, this book holds up the mirror of the wise and the foolish, so that you might choose the way of purpose and peace instead of derailment and despair. It is an ideal book for personal study, small group, or mentorship. Turn these pages, guard your steps, and claim God's very best for your life. They were not wicked - just not wise, and it cost them God's best. A Genesis-to-Revelation study of good people whose small unwisdom drifted into ruin, and how to avoid it.
