In this new commentary on the 2016 presidential election, Mitchell Steven Morrison, also known as "the Mitchuation," shows readers what voters were really thinking when they elected Donald Trump as the forty-fifth president of the United States. While many political pundits seemed blindsided by Trump's overwhelming victory, Morrison shows how Trump had his finger on the pulse of America and understood exactly what frustrated voters were looking for in their next president. Why Trump Won includes discussions about the good, old-fashioned American beliefs Trump embodies, the corruption inherent in most mainstream media outlets, the influence (or lack of influence) Hollywood had on the election, the importance of the religious organizations who backed Trump, the mystique of the Trump First Family, the truth behind the Russia allegations and investigation, the commitment of the administration to fight radical Islam and North Korea, andthe many reasons Trump became a popular candidate for so many people. From discussions of the distorting world of fake news to the lessons learned from previous administrations, Morrison covers a wide variety of topics. His work is an insightful look into an election that anyone could have predicted if the media had actually listened to the American people. This item is printed on demand. Mitchell Steven Morrison, also known as “the Mitchuation,” is a graduate of the Journalism School at the University of Southern California and a former employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He completed his master’s degree in forensic science at George Washington University. He founded Americas Ride and the World Trade Center Miracles Foundation, a fundraiser for the victims of 9/11. In addition to "Why Trump Won" book, Morrison is also the author of Charity Is a Contact Sport. Mitchell Morrison has highly specialized knowledge on Russian operatives as he worked in the counterintelligence unit of the FBI and specifically did surveillance on the former Soviet Union Intelligence officers working for the GRU and the former KGB in New York City and Washington D. C. Morrison believes that the Russian story about Donald Trump is false for numerous reasons. Based on his past experience with Russian Intelligence agencies the claim that the Russians would assist Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton does not add up. Russia and the former USSR have never supported republican candidates throughout history and would not change this strategy for the last POTUS 2016 election. Dating back to Lyndon Johnson and George McGovern in the 1960's and the early 1970's USSR supported and contributed monies always to the Democratic candidates and those who supported socialism. George McGovern in received support from the USA Communist Workers party, SDS and Weatherman Underground in particular. Richard Nixon was not the preferred candidate and the former USSR used to resources to attempt to defeat Richard Nixon and get George McGovern elected instead. Russians backed Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton in their campaigns over Republican rivals. Mitchell Morrison had several friendships with FBI agents who investigated Watergate and also knew Mark Felt AKA "Deep Throat" Morrison knows the entire Watergate story inside and out. Morrison has proof that the FBI was originally asked to do the break-in at McGovern headquarters but J.Edgar Hoover turned down the request from President Nixon White House staff member. Morrison believes that Russia attempted to disrupt the credibility of both candidates Trump and Clinton but would NEVER prefer that Trump defeat Clinton. Trump was actually dangerous for the Russian people and their fragile economy. Trump campaigned to drill for oil and natural gas, build US military, remove regulations, re-do trade agreements.
