Item description from seller

Octavo. Pp. xiv, 5-180. Stated fourth edition. Needless to say, Ireland's poverty is England's fault. Mr. Scanlan cites history and many facts. A chapter on the Irish American attitude toward slavery is interesting. Internally fine, in olive green cloth boards, titled in black, with a sad lady in chains representing Ireland. Faint soil to covers; light rubbing and small bumps to corners. Scarce, except in reprints.
