Synopsis:
Who am I, is a memoir about the experiences and journey of a young worship leader who encounters challenges while navigating her spiritual walk and serving in music ministry. Merami, was born in Eagle Pass Texas, and grew up in Sacramento, California. She attended Centro Cristiano Ebenezer, now known as The Avenue Church Sacramento, where at the age of 19, she first experienced the call of God in her life to lead others into the presence of God. She then felt led to attend a Discipleship Program for 2 years in Northern Washington where she studied and received her certificate of completion of 1 year through Global University.
During her time in the Discipleship Program, she was given the opportunity to lead worship at outreaches and churches in the 4 corners of the state of Washington. When she returned to Northern California, she led Worship at services and conferences and was also a part of a traveling Worship team for a period of 2 years, Double Portion, while serving at Cantico Nuevo, now known as New Season Espaņol in Sacramento, CA.
Merami is currently pursuing a degree in Ministerial Studies at Epic Bible Institute. She is now a part of The Dream Team of a newly launched church plant; The Father’s House Elk Grove. A church led by close pastoral friends in the city of Elk Grove, where she also serves on the Worship Team.
