Print on Demand. This book follows Rosalind Trevor, a lively and spirited young woman living in the 19th century, as she descends upon the formal and cold countryside estate of her estranged aunt. Despite family history and her own preconceived notions putting a strain on her visit, Rosalind's warmth and resilience slowly begin to chip away at the icy exterior of her aunt. With wit and determination, Rosalind navigates a cast of quirky characters—some warm and inviting, some suspicious and calculating—and uncovers a complex web of family secrets and long-held resentments. As she seeks acceptance and connection, Rosalind's own growth and transformation echo the broader themes of love and forgiveness, and the transformative power of kindness in the face of adversity. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
