Item description from seller
'Election forecasting is a little bit like cricket—there is no room for complacency and each ball is a new one.' How are mandates made? How do people end up voting for one specific party and why? What is anti-incumbency, and how does it work? Who Gets Elected answers the most urgent questions about elections. Pradeep Gupta, India’s top psephologist and the founder of Axis My India, discusses everything regarding winning elections and maintaining a hold on power for the next one. With expert insight and an understanding into the psyche of the common Indians as they make their decision on their leader, this is a must-read for everyone who wants to be well informed about election processes in India.
