Binding remains firm. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some moderate marking and tanning. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Second Impression 1960 Hardcover with pictorial Dustjacket: 240 pages and illustrations and fold out photograph of the peak with a slight ruffle to the outside edge (see photographs). Dustjacket has wear to edges and spine edges, rounded corners, very light foxing and offset yellowing to ffep. Ruffling and small tears to spine crown and base. An old tear which was repaired from the inside of the jacket has come away from the old tape (see photograph) but still sits well.
