About the Author
Megan Shersby is a naturalist and science writer. After a stint of working in animal behaviour research and environmental education, she worked for BBC Wildlife writing and editing content for the magazine and its website, before returning to work for wildlife conservation charities.
She has written for a number of additional publications including BBC Countryfile (including hosting episodes of The Plodcast), BBC Sky At Night, BBC History Revealed, Live Science and BTO's Into The Red.
Heather Devey is the Founder and Co-Director of Wild Intrigue CIC, based from the urban jungle of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Much of her life is dedicated to rewilding people and places with experiences, projects and media which celebrate the 'lush' nature of Northern England.
Rebecca Gibson is an outdoor writer and photographer specialising in Scottish wildlife. She is the author of Slow Travel North East Scotland and has a master's degree in Travel and Nature Writing. Through her work, she aims to inspire people to connect with the natural world and discover wild places in an unhurried, immersive way.
Dan Rouse is an experienced ornithologist from Swansea, having worked in the sector for over 15 years. She has published books for adults and children on attracting wildlife to your gardens with DK. Outside of her writing, Dan works for nonprofit WildSpace, which is dedicated to making nature accessible to all.
