A beautiful fairy tale book for the whole family to enjoy and read together.
Where elves Come From is an Award-Winning Finalist in 2018 Readers’ Favorite and became an Amazon Best-Seller with many copies sold all over the world.
The book helps children of all ages cope with the loss of a loved one. It encourages and teaches kids to use their imaginations, and helps parents explain sensitive topics to their children.
Dearest Readers and believers of all ages: With this story, I would like to take you on a fantastic and emotional journey. I hope you will also experience all those beautiful feelings that came over me as I was writing this book. This children's chapter book expands on two girls whose friendship forms when the two meet on a playground, and then blossoms as their single parents fall in love and get married. However, their faith and awareness of life are tested when the oldest girls is stricken with cancer, allowing the family to make long lasting memories before it is too late. This is not an ordinary fairy tale since it is also based on real life events, and mixed with uncertainty and the magic of the unknown. We should all learn from an early age the importance of such things as love, happiness, gratitude and strong family bonds, and I try to show the importance of all of this throughout the book. The book is divided into 16 chapters making each one of the perfect for reading as an individual bedtime story. Additionally, each chapter contains a fundamental moral to learn from, and most episodes have one of my favorite bedtime prayers that you can enjoy before going to sleep. So, won't you please join me in this heartwarming story about one of my elves, and her beautiful family. They will make you laugh, and they will make you cry, but most of all, I hope, they will make you all feel good inside. By the end of the story, as the mystery of where elves come from is revealed, I hope that you will also believe in the power of a little magic! Warmest wishes, SANTA

About the Author
Edit is an award-winning author. She writes children books, inspirational books, and fiction books. She was born in Hungary and now lives in Florida. She grew up on Hans Christian Andersen and Grimm Brother's fairy tales. She finds that these types of fairy tales not only make us use our imaginations and have interesting stories but, they also have good teaching moments and morals. She believes that more books should include beautiful, quality and positive thinking, and because of this, she decided to start writing. A significant part of this book also comes from a meaningful life experience that she still carries with her from when she was working with kids in a cancer hospital. She learned that these children have such an extraordinary love for life. They live life to the fullest. They love everything and everybody that comes along in their life unconditionally, and they always try to remain happy! These are the reasons she wanted to include them in this book. "They have always been in my heart for so many years now, that I feel they deserve to become a legend in their own right!" Edit's goal is to create books that are engaging, inspirational and motivational for children and their parents.
Alan is an award-winning author. He writes children books, inspirational books, and fiction books. He was born in Canada and now lives in Florida with Edit Engel, and together they write books. Before writing books, he was very successful in starting businesses and assisting other companies to be successful. He learned how important it is to have dreams and then to set goals towards making those dreams a reality. He also learned that success starts from the inside out and that filling oneself with positive messages and reading inspirational books is one way of feeding yourself for successful outcomes. The fact that he comes from a single parent family and the way that his father has always made everything in his capacity to encourage him to go after his dreams was instrumental in his life. He was very lucky to have had all this loving attention, and grandparents that took the time to make reading fairy tales and other books a priority. Thanks to them he still has a great love for reading, and now for writing as well. "With this story, we would like to take you on a fantastic and emotional journey. As though written by Santa himself, we hope you will also experience all those beautiful feelings that came over us as we were writing this book."

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
