Paperback. Book Description: After nine years in administration, Phoenix Police Sergeant Luke Canfield, is promoted to lieutenant and transferred to the field. He would come to realize, however, that long-held beliefs of right and wrong become blurred when dealing with the human heart. On his last day in the office, he uncovers his dead partner's polygraph charts indicating truthfulness by the victim and witnesses of an alien abduction. The discovery ignites a series of dangerous events that puts his career, his sanity, and even his life on the line.A strange, late night, encounter with a detective in Squaw Peak Park shakes him to his very core. Could what he was seeing and hearing be real, or has his mind finally surrendered to the darkness that has haunted him since childhood?
