When we Were very Young by AA Milne with decorations by Ernest h shepard, published by Methuen & Co ltd., London, tenth edition, july 1925. Hard back, cloth bound in dark blue cloth with gold embossed figure ilustrations on front and gold line around with gold titles to spine. Cover has wear to edges, spine and corners and is in fair condition. As shown in photos, the front endpaper is peeled from the binding a little at spine and there are a couple of previous owners' names.also gift inscription in ink across first title page The back endpaper paste-down is present but its other half, page opposite last page, is missing. Last page is present with printer's name at bottom. 100 pages, nearly all with illustrations. The pages are generally very clean with a couple of marks. The binding is loose in places. - A fair copy.
