nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Losing a spouse rewrites your life in ways nobody warns you about. The paperwork nobody explains. The silence at the end of the day. The guilt that shows up for no clear reason. The moment God feels closer than He's ever been, and the moment right after when He feels impossibly far away. Have you asked yourself how you're supposed to keep going when the person you built your whole life with is no longer here to help you carry it You keep going one hour at a time, not because it feels possible, but because the people who love you need you standing, and because something in you still wants to see what's on the other side of this pain. That's what this book is for. When Your Spouse Is Gone walks you through spousal loss with scripture that speaks directly to grief and practical guidance for the parts no one explains, the funeral decisions, the paperwork, the loneliness once the support fades. Written by someone who lived through losing a spouse, it skips the clinical distance of typical grief books and the empty comfort of platitudes. If you want honesty over polish, and faith without forced positivity, you'll feel at home in these pages. Each of the thirteen chapters closes with seven reflection questions, ninety-one in total. They give you a way to sit with your own grief instead of reading past it, whether you answer them privately in a journal, talk through them with a counselor or pastor, or bring them into a support group. They turn this book into something you work through, not something you finish once and shelve. If you put into practice what When Your Spouse Is Gone teaches, you'll:Handle funeral arrangements, finances, and legal paperwork without losing your patienceUnderstand your grief instead of fighting itSet boundaries with people who love you but don't know what to sayParent your children through their grief while carrying your ownBring anger and doubt to God honestly, without losing your faithGet through birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays that once felt unbearableRebuild a life that honors your spouse instead of leaving them behindMaybe you've picked up grief books before that felt too clinical, or so focused on faith that they skipped past the anger and doubt you're actually facing.
