When a pet dies, children don't just lose an animal—they lose their companion, their comfort, their best friend who knew all their secrets. The pain is crushing and real.
Perfect for ages 5-10, When Your Pet Dies follows Mia as she says goodbye to her beloved dog Bailey. Bailey has been Mia's whole world—sleeping at the foot of her bed, greeting her after school, loving her unconditionally. When Bailey gets sick and dies, Mia's heart shatters. Everything reminds her of Bailey. The emptiness is unbearable.
