GOD, WHERE ARE YOU
WHEN LIFE IS TENSE AND TOUGH?
We are living in stressful, trying times. Fear, worry, overload, burnout, discouragement, debt, confusion, indecision, and life-altering losses affect us in more ways than we can contemplate. Often, in the thick of our struggles, we anxiously look to God for help, hoping and praying that He will solve our dilemmas-soon. Where are You, God? I need help NOW!
In When I Need God the Most, you can find the help you have been seeking-daily, practical wisdom that God offers from His Word when you face difficult issues.
The author gives clear, useful, Scriptural answers that address many of the trials people face today:
• Confusion • Life-Altering Loss • Discouragement
• Fear • Worry • Debt • Failure • Work Overload and Burnout
• Marriage • Strife • Parenting Challenges
With discussion questions at the end of each chapter, this study is ideal for small groups, for midweek and weekend church classes, for congregational outreach seminars to their local community, and for personal study and daily devotion.
H. CURTIS MCDANIEL has served as a pastor, Bible teacher, professor, and mentor for more than five decades, with earned degrees from Duquesne University (PhD), Fuller Theological Seminary (DMin), Covenant Seminary, and Columbia International University. He is the Founder and President of the Center for Reaching a Post-Christian Culture (www.PostChristianCondition.org). From pastoral experiences to life trials as a widower and as a leader, he engages a spectrum of life tensions and troubles, offering Biblical help and hope along the way. He and his wife Beth (also widowed) together enjoy four adult children and seven active grandchildren, and live near Columbia, SC.
