With over 20 years of experience as an educator and lifelong learner, Katrina Riley dubbed the #PRINCIPALNERD has learned a thing or two about the role of fearless leadership as a woman in the school system. Far too often the challenges that women have faced in these roles were not discussed, until now. When She Leads is the dynamic culmination of vivid stories and highlights that depict the joys and pains of a school leader. In addition to personal insights gleaned from Katrina, the powerful testimonies of other educational school leaders are woven in to give readers a robust perspective, and the empowerment and inspiration to take action towards cultivating the minds and leaders of tomorrow.

Review
Until now, there has been no resource available that
spoke directly to women in leadership to prepare them
for the task at hand. When She Leads is a crucial read
for those considering a career in academia as well
as those who have assumed the role for clarity and
mentorship.
– Pam Algore, Retired Principal, 30 years
When She Leads serves as a catalyst for crucial conversations about the future of education for administrators. Information presented in this way is meaningful for the continued sustainability of professionals in this
realm.
– JoAnn Jenkins, School Guidance Counselor, 40 years
As a teacher, this book has given me so much insight
about what school administrators are facing and ways
in which I can further support the infrastructure of the
entire school. This book is not just for administrators
but all school professionals and shareholders who have
a vested interest in the cultivation of youth.
– Janet Thomas, Early Childhood Educator, 5 Years
