When you Know
He's living the dream. He's got plenty of money, good friends, and a new woman every weekend.
She's on her own and proving to everyone that she's an independent woman.
Did he just find love at first sight? Does he even believe in such a thing or is this just some crazy crush?
Can she trust his words? Maybe not, but will his actions speak loud enough to change her mind about him?
When You Fight
Brody's been a lawyer for years and has helped police put away many offenders. He's not afraid of them and never takes their threats seriously. Until now.
The man he's after in his new domestic violence case is willing to go farther than anyone he's dealt with before.
If Brody goes after this guy, he could ruin his case, his career, and lose his client. If he follows the law and plays by the book, he could keep his career, win his case, protect his client, even, but will he lose his wife in the process?
Based on a true love story, follow one couple on their journey to trusting and loving each other. Then follow a case that devastates his life and risks all.
*There are descriptive scenes of domestic violence, abuse, hostage, and kidnapping situations. If you are uncomfortable reading about someone being hit, kicked, spit on, held at knifepoint, or put in suggestive situations, I wouldn't recommend reading. This is intended for audiences 18+ due to this and romantic situations.*

About the Author
Melissa Smith is a stay at home mom and wife living in Missouri, where she's spent her entire life. She writes for the joy of it and is passionate about sharing stories with uplifting messages, deep relationships, and life lessons.
She likes to write steamy romances and strange sci-fi. She currently writes Contemporary Crime Drama Romance, Sci-fi Romance, and YA Sci-fi. Her YA Sci-fi series was written for her baby sister, but she's enjoyed writing those stories just as much as her others.
Melissa is also a personal assistant (PA) to one other author and an editor to many others. She loves being able to help others in the author community as much as she can, which is why she wrote a self-publishing guide and journals to help those in need. When she isn't working on plotting, writing, or editing, she's making graphics, playing games with her family, or enjoying what little peace and quiet she manages to get.
