From the Publisher
God can answer your prayers in many different ways, showing up when you least expect it. When he does answer your call, will you recognize Him? Will you be open to the way He chooses to come? Are you truly ready for God to work in your life?
R. T. Kendall, pastor of one of England’s most dynamic churches, has written this lively and challenging book that will deepen your faith and prepare you for the time when your prayers are answered—however and whenever God chooses to do so.
In his own exquisite way, R. T. Kendall gives insightful answers to the searching questions all of us ask when confronted with the reality of God’s unexpected presence. — John Arnott, Senior Pastor, Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship
God is raising up in the Church today biblical scholars who know both their Scriptures and the power of God. R. T. Kendall is such a man—an outstanding scholar with a great love for our Lord Jesus. — Mike Bickle, Senior Pastor, Metro Christian Fellowship, Kansas City, Missouri
When God Shows Up is a timely, masterfully written book combining deep biblical exposition with R. T. Kendall’s insight and openness to the work and person of the Holy Spirit. — Paul Cain, President, Paul Cain Ministries
R. T. Kendall is always lucid, relevant and challenging. This book demands your urgent attention! Pray that as you read, God will show up in your life! — Clive Calver, World Relief
R. T. Kendall is one of my favorite Christian authors. When God Shows Up has helped me to be more open to how God wants to move in my life—no matter how He wants to do it. — Stephen Strang, Founder, Charisma magazine
