Launching into adulthood might seem far away for college bound students, but it starts with finding the right college for the right reasons. And in our increasingly competitive world, a strong launch—personally, professionally, and financially— has never been more important.
When Eagles Launch offers students a unique mix of advice on how to approach college admissions in a healthy way, how to make a major life decision, and then have a college experience they can build upon for the rest of their lives.
This book is different than traditional college guidebooks. For too long, we have asked students to focus on just getting into college. Despite the mistaken beliefs, win-or-lose pressure, and debt that surrounds college admissions, we also expect teenagers to navigate this process without proper training on how to make such an important and costly decision.
That’s why When Eagles Launch helps students build confidence, purpose, and a firm sense of self as they:
- Learn what matters most for college and adulthood,
- Discover common traps to avoid while making a major decision,
- Use step-by-step guidance to find colleges that meet their needs, and
- Develop effective plans for their college years to accelerate personal and professional development.
Parents will appreciate how When Eagles Launch helps them strip away pressure, while guiding their teens to colleges where they can excel. The advice on decisions and life can also start conversations that last well into adulthood.
