My book titled When Your Destiny Can't Be Broken is designed for readers who have gone through both spiritual battles and emotional conflicts in their personal lives. The poems that I share with the readers are reflections of my own past hurts and suffering. I also go on to share moments of humiliations, shame and pain from the lives of other's whom I've encountered in my life time. The Holy Spirit would bring events to my rememberance and would have me to write about them so that other people would not feel alone and abandoned in the midst of their suffering. Healing, deliverence, salvation, confession, utterance, and true worship in the name of Jesus Christ is the center of each poem whereby the person who reads this can and will find love, joy peace in the presence of the Lord. It's their opportunity to seek out a relationship with Jesus for themselves and learn how and why the Son of God came to earth to die for the world. Understanding the concepts of biblical principle as it correlates with definition allow you the reader to tap into the true message of each poem.

Chapter One
CompassionMark 1:41
And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and said unto him: "I will be thy clean." (KJV) At this moment Jesus reached out to the individuals placed his hands on their bodies. The bystanders had now become witnesses that Jesus love was unconditional and his grace was sufficient for all. It also implies that we all have dealt with something that has caused impurities in our flesh or a tainted spirit. The same compassion Jesus showed the lepers is the same love and compassion we should show one another regardless of disease or sin.
Definition
The act of reaching out to someone in need; to provide charity, or to feel sympathetic to one's loss, suffering or situation
He Gave
Jesus was a gift to the world
From the Father known as the creator
He sacrificed all he had so that he could
Vouch as your personal savior
The heaven the earth
All life form within
When he arose on the third day
The world called him friend
His punishment was harsh
Brought about humility for them who love him
Although he hung there in silence
He remained as he faced all of them
His enemies laughed, cursed,
Mocked, and gashed his skin
Leaving the son of God
Bruised and torn within
He hung on the cross weak as he shouted
"Forgive them they know not what they do"
What courage he displayed
As he shed blood for me and you
Just imagine the price he paid
As the thorns pierced in his head
Consider the silence of salvation
For all that blood he shed
This is a reminder to share the gospel
Of something special in all the nations
Jesus the son of God
He deserves a standing ovation
The next time you forget who brought you
Out of you last situation
Open the word of God
To ask for a revelation
Not just one you seek to find
As an entertaining thought
But a thirst for wisdom and knowledge
That will linger in your heart
I say to you this day
Revisit the day on Calvary's Cross
Then picture the world without the Son
And all the souls that would've been lost

Assurance
Acts 17:31
"Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained: wherefore he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."
Apostle Paul warns the people that Jesus will return and when he does return he will look into the heart of every man to determine whether or not he has governed himself or herself according to his word; his words were made simple enough so that the people could interpret the message.
Definition
To be confident with self; to believe and have certainty that someone or something has your best interest in mind; to have a certain level of confidence; a measure of certitude or conviction
When I lifted my Eyes
I've always been fond of Jesus
Knowing that my strength cometh from the Lord
Ever since I was a young girl
He became my greatest reward
I can recall like it was yesterday
Lifting my eyes toward the clouds
Telling Jesus how much I love him
Really, really loud
Don't quite remember ever being ashamed
To call out His name
After all he was open to my
Feelings and always stayed the same
When I was in trouble or my spirit was broken
I ran to him for cover
This was always a safe haven
Where the Holy Spirit hovered
I would lie beneath a shaded area
Pretending it was Jesus wings
I would lift my voice for hours
Unto my King I would sing
Just me and Him
In the midst of a quiet place
All my time devoted to Him
To my Father face to face
I could feel his presence all around
His sweet aroma filled the air
No other place I'd rather be
If I could I'd invite you there
I can't apologize for this quiet time
Alone with my best friend
For this is my moment to lift my eyes
Too the heaven where my prayers never end

Hope
Psalms 40:1
"I waited patiently on the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry."
Jesus listened to David's plea for help; he then came to rescue David by bringing him out of despair, renewed his mind, guided his pathway, and gave him a song of praise to worship the Lord our God. That same help is there for you when you are humble and sincere in your desire to serve and worship Christ.
Definition
A promise to a personor groups future; to desire and wait on a promise; to have and expectation of greatness in the future for one's self or others
I Came Back
You had been waiting
As though you knew I'd be on my way
So suave you stood there
With the biggest smile on your face
With stretched out hands you reach out
Compassionately to embrace my being
Without a second thought I ran
Closer to you to get in
Once I found that resting place
To call my comfort zone
I knew for the very first time
That I was finally home
To be back
I could feel joy and peace within
I had no doubt or insecurities
I knew all while you were my friend
When I was able to move about
I began to lift my hands
So overwhelmed with grace
I began to do my dance
Some may say I was shouting
While other call it praise
It really doesn't matter either way
This is a victorious day
I'm home here at my Father's place
Where the eyes of darkness can't find me
Protected and not alone
Here is where I'm supposed to be

Courage
Psalms 18:30
"As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried; he is a buckler to all those that trust him."
When you can trust in the ways of God, he can and will deliver you out of the many hard trials you face; he will place your feet above rising waters, and cause your giants to stumble and fall; therefore he tells you that he is your strength in battle and he is your shield to protect you when you cannot withstand the forces of evil by yourself.
Definition
To be fearless: to show strength in a mental or physical state during a battle, trial, or test. To remain strong; too show strength
I Fought the Battle
Tarried until the field was saturated
And the lion of Judah by my side
I was now ready for battle
My weapon I could not hide
You see the comforter came before me
To relinquish what could not stay
All that was left for me to do
Was to stand on my faith
The giants had already been conquered
Before I could raise my hand
Trusting in His word
All I had to do was stand
Pleading the blood of Jesus
Over the land as well as myself
I've received a special inheritance
That is greater than fame and wealth
You see I've earned my mantle
That many fail to receive
Being obedient to the Father's instructions
I went forth and believed
That whatever the Master had planned for me
I wasn't going to turn it down
Instead I came like John the Baptist
To announce he who come now
It's an honor to warn the world
Of the Messiah and his visitations
I'll continue from coast to coast
Prophesying in every location
Planting and plowing
For the arrival of the King
Let every voice recognize
Lift their voice and sing

1Corithians 2:10
"But God has revealed them untous by His Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God."
For the individual who trust and believe in the word of God also trusts and believes in God the Father and Jesus the son of God. They that hear the word and abide in it are free through salvation; he that gains understanding and obtains wisdom is wise; but those who turn away from him will lack knowledge of him and live foolishly.

You Better Get Ready
What are you waiting for
You are running out of time
Why do you procrastinate
To only get left behind
You promised God a year ago
That you'd give your life to Christ
Now it's three years later
You're wandering every night
What is it that the world has promised
That won't allow you to submit
Oh I see you only called on Jesus
When you were in the hospital sick
It's a shame and a foolish thing
To play with the hands of the Father
You're going to need Him again real soon
He probably won't even bother
To respond to your cry
Of pity and pain
He sees your selfish heart
All your street game
For reasons you haven't taken heed
To His warnings in the past or the present
What is it going to take for you
To learn a heart ranching lesson
My Lord is patient with love
He is compassionate tried and true
When He calls for his children
He expects for you to move
This is a mere warning
That Jesus is on his way back
If you are not prepared this time
It's your own fault you slacked
So when Jesus comes back to say
My son I know you not
No need to scream or moan
For in hell you shall rot
Not just for a day
A minute or an hour
But for eternity my child
You chose to be devoured
By the hands of satan
Who offered you a foolish life-style
With factitious fantasies
That was then worth your while
This is your final warning
Find your place in Him
You don't want to be caught
Empty out of his will

Chapter Two
The Defining Moment Part IIJudgment
John 8:7
"So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
Jesus will come back and judge every man according to his Father's word. Each person should stay in their respected places when the finger is pointed at someone else's drama; we all have sinned and it can create shame and humiliation. Jesus doesn't want us to get caught up in gossip; remain silent and pray for that person that God will deliver him from his or her bad habit(s).
Definition
To form an opinion or thought about a thing, person or situation; to discern by comparing or to make a final judgment.
He's Here
Back to judge the world
With fire and brimstone
He's no longer showing mercy
On the ones He chose
He designed each man and women
To go out and complete His mission
Some decided to play
Failed to act or listen
Now He's back to judge swiftly
He's not about playing games
For the condition of His land shameful
His message must be made plain
The antichrist is coming soon
To suck this nation dry
He will appear in the form of man
Appear appealing to the natural eye
Seeking to make promises
Plotting to destroy a nation
Prayer warriors why are you sleeping
When you should be protecting my creation
Get to the temples
Run to your prayer closets began rebuking his plan
Didn't you all take heed
When he said the Kingdom is at hand
Daily you see the people
Discontent moaning and groaning
Why do you think that is
You got to feel darkness is roaming
That spirit hasn't stopped attacking
The souls that ought to be won
He shows not mercy on the righteous
I suggest you call on the (Jesus) son
No more hesitation
Move with a purpose now
War like you never had
Stomp satan down
You've been trained to go to battle
To shake rattle and role
Use the powers that God gave to you
Stand warriors be bold

Grievous
Jeremiah 10:19
"Woe is my hurt! My wound is grievous: but I said, truly this is a grief, and I must bear it."
The Lord is expressing his thoughts to let the leaders know that his spirit is in mourning and he's disappointed as he watches the city live in rebellion, and discord; and the arrogance of the leaders and their lack of leadership both in the city and tabernacles. Now what tragedy will it take for the people to wake up to see the ways of our God?
Definition
To be oppressed, burdened; sorrow or sadness; to be stricken with severe suffering
Never thought I'd know you
At least not like this
Never imagined in a million years
Just because I've been running
Doing my own thing without fear
For a long time
I told myself that I'd make my own rules
Move to the beat of a simple drum
In doing what I thought was cool
It was on a warm spring day
I was riding with a friend in the neighborhood
Nothing unusual we took every precaution
Like our parents knew we would
For a moment all was well
We laughed talked with our bikes we raced
I never saw this coming
My friend disappeared before my face
Just that quickly she had been struck
By a truck speeding around a curve
I believe that tragedy was designed for me
But very quickly I was able to swerve
I could not believe what my eyes just saw
I ran fast to get help
As composed as I tried to be
My heart pounded as I ran and wept
I got to her house to tell her aunt
And granny the tragic story
They raced out the door quickly
As they shouted Oh no Glory
For the first time in my life
This became my second prayer
Lord, please save my friends' life
Her death I cannot bare
I was so scared for her
I thought it could've been me
But I knew I was covered in Jesus blood
Thank God my mother's prayer on bended knees
She says we should always pray
For God's covering and protection
For satan is out to kill the body of Christ
To eliminate the Father message
You see satan taught me a lesson that day
To cover myself in the blood
To always acknowledge God's presence
For protection and his love
If I didn't know Jesus
Then I truly know him now
Sometimes it takes a tragedy
To open our eyes somehow

Matthew 24:11-14
"And many false prophets shall come to deceive and their iniquities shall abound, and the love be waxed cold; But he who shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved." And the gospel off the kingdom shall be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."(KJV)

Running the Race
I'm positioned at the starting point
Waiting for the whistle to blow
I've trained hard for this moment
Though I've competed many times before
See with a natural eye you would think
I am running a natural race
Sorry this one is a spiritual
In reaching a particular place
I'm in competition with some of the best
competitors sent from far and near
What separates me from them all
Is that the Holy Spirit resides here
I'm coasting and my pace is just right
In reaching my destination
Almost there where my instructions await
Then I maneuver to the next location
Focused on the Father
I thrive and keep this steady pace
Out to complete this final round
I'm focused on one face
The Living God who enriches
Motivates every step that is before me
I'm nearly home with no one on my heals
I've been set apart to reach my destiny

Deception
Judges 16:15
"And she said unto him how canst thou say, I love thee when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me where in thy great strength lieth."
Judges 16:16
There came a day when she opened her mouth; and the word from her angered him to a point that his soul became weary and afflicted.
Delilah attempts to use deceit to try and manipulate Samson to gain control over him. We must be aware in all relationships that people will conjure up schemes to influence, control, and manipulate another to gain personal satisfaction.
Definition
The act of trickery; to deceive; hidden words or actions that the perpetrator acts upon to seduce his victim for personal gratification
When it's not destined
The day you gave that person your heart
Jesus was pushed to the side
When you decided to choose your own path
The heartache was not realized
You see the dream of this man loving you
Was farfetched and designed by satan
This was his plan to place you in bondage
To keep your heart heavy laden
For years you gave all of you
Expected the same in return
Only to be hated and disrespected
Still your lessons you failed to learn
As the years went on you seemed to lose
Apart of you trying to hold on
Each day came and went you asked
What is it that I'm doing wrong
After crying out to Jesus
He revealed this news to you
My daughter when you acted out of lust
Your future became confused
Though it wasn't my plan for you
I gave you what you asked for
So I had to let you endure the suffering
The moment you opened that door
Twelve years it felt like hell
To have given a lot only to lose it all
But satan couldn't steal your soul
Through it all you still stood tall
When you found that this wasn't the place
You lifted your eyes up to the heavens
Your prayer the Father heard
He came quickly in the year of O' seven
He petitioned you at that moment
To say he came to bring you rest
Then told you it wouldn't be easy
You'd endure an even harder test
It was painful to walk away
For you've loved in spite of shame
But Jesus couldn't see you suffer no more
Or bare anymore pain
He challenged you to forgive
So that He could honor his original plan
With your trust in only him
You'd never again be deceived by man
