They don't shatter. They transform.
In When Damaged Goods Collide: Keys to Live from Totaled to Totally Renewed, Dr. Rhoda S. Slade delivers a soul-stirring, faith-filled roadmap for those who have been crushed by life, wounded by people, or paralyzed by pain. This powerful Christian nonfiction book invites readers into the raw, relatable journeys of Brytish and Josiah, two individuals struggling with trauma, shame, and identity loss, who find restoration not in perfection but in surrender.
Told through a compelling blend of narrative storytelling and spiritual insight, each chapter uncovers emotional truths and biblical wisdom. Readers are guided through "the collision" of past pain and present purpose, showing that what was once totaled by trauma can be totally renewed through Christ.
Dr. Slade speaks not only as a theologian and coach but as someone who has personally experienced the journey from brokenness to healing. A certified NLP life coach, ordained elder, and Doctor of Christian Education, she weaves together scripture, neuro-linguistic programming tools, and deep emotional intelligence to meet readers where they are and guide them toward true transformation.
In This Book, Readers Will Discover:
- How to confront hidden wounds and acknowledge the damage within
- Scriptural truths that affirm identity, purpose, and value in Christ
- Step-by-step "keys" to move from trauma to triumph
- Mindset tools rooted in faith and NLP for emotional healing
- How to walk in freedom from shame, regret, and self-sabotage
When Damaged Goods Collide is the first book in a transformative series that speaks to real people, real pain, and real healing through the presence and power of God.
Perfect For:
- Individuals seeking emotional, spiritual, or relational healing
- Women's ministries and Christian book clubs
- Pastors, counselors, and life coaches
