Paperback. Many students' first introduction to science is learning about animals as a small child. Essential ideas of biology can be gleaned by understanding why some animals have blubber, how chicks breathe in their eggshells, biodiversity, and so much more! Experiments and activities in this title presented by Scientific American ask readers to investigate these ideas. Each project is preceded by an explanation about the concept explored in the following activity. Clear, step-by-step instructions guide readers through gathering materials, set up, and execution of the project. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
