Become a bottlenose dolphin in this interactive picture book that encourages movement, creativity, and decision-making.
Have you ever dreamed of swimming through the ocean like a dolphin? In this interactive picture book, you get to experience life from a bottlenose dolphin’s point of view. Catch fish. Make squeaking and clicking sounds. Use your blowhole to take a breath. The entertaining, educational story allows readers to make life choices to survive throughout a dolphin’s life cycle—it’s like playing a game and reading a book at the same time!
As the adventure begins, you’re a new calf, nestled beside your mother underwater. You’ll become strong as you grow, but when are you old enough to hunt for food? Experience growing up in a pod of dolphins, playing games, staying safe from sharks, and starting a family.
Written by award-winning teacher Darcy Halverson, with illustrations by Narek Saroyan, What Will the Dolphin Do? encourages movement and imagination, as readers pretend to be a beloved marine mammal. Active children especially appreciate the opportunity to wiggle and move with the story.
