Add to basketMinor shelf wear, creasing to top front corner and several subsequent pages, binding tight, pages clean and unmarked. Finally an informative yet enjoyable book that reveals the ancient secrets of Chi and the practices that can make its benefits available to anyone. Written by a Chinese Master, this volume is intended for the instructor, the beginner, the advanced student or the just plain curious! The beautiful Calligraphy by Gyokukan and more than 180 illustrations, charts and photos illustrates the idea of energy, how it was defined and developed over the years, how to cultivate it, use it and teach it The students of both authors have waited for this book for years and after many challengers it arrived in July, 2013. After only 2 weeks we received many positive responses from the experienced to the neophytes on the benefits of the information provided as well as how easy it was to understand. Many people who know little or nothing about Chi have commented on how just plain enjoyable it was. We are proud of our book and made extreme efforts to make it accurate, helpful, comprehensive and enjoyable. To help the reader navigate through the information, we provided "Reading Tips" and a "Journey Map" at the beginning of each chapter identifying where the reader is as related to the other chapters (associated subjects.) This helps the reader clarify how the material relates in the overall topic of Chi. The intention of the authors is to make Chi easily understood and relate how it is a global term under different cultures and languages. We hope to open the door for you so you can explore the wonders of Chi.
