Paperback. What Lives Behind Our Ribs explores the internal blueprints we draft simply to survive. It follows Aanya, a woman who seeks refuge in the cold precision of architectural tools because straight lines are easier to master than the jagged edges of a repressed memory. This novella is a tribute to the "quiet ones" and an investigation into the structural integrity of our defenses. It serves as a reminder that while we can design the houses we inhabit, we cannot always design the way we feel within them. When the walls we build for protection finally start to lean, we are forced to confront the truth: the most vital rooms in our lives are the ones we have spent the longest time trying to keep locked.
