#What Would Laura Bush Do is a chronicle of personal development and self-improvement entries focused on living and overcoming everyday challenges by evoking lessons learned from a valued role model.
Laura Bush is more than politics. She is more than a former First Lady of the United States of America. She is a wife, a mother, a literacy advocate, and for many - including author Kitt Parker - she is a role model.
The Former First Lady's capacity for kindness is one of the reasons Parker chose Bush as her role model. Inside, read entries like "Laughter," "Acts of Kindness," and "Pleasant Surprises" to learn more about how the Former First Lady's example has helped Parker through life.
Parker is an accomplished writer, journalist, educator, and community activist. She is also a sister, aunt, daughter, and dear friend. While working to accomplish her goals, grow in her relationships, and help others, she routinely asks - What Would Laura Bush Do?
By sharing her experiences, Parker hopes to inspire others to ask #WWLBD when they are faced with challenges in their lives.
She wants you to find your Laura Bush. Read more on her blog, www.WhatWouldLauraBushDo.com.
