Paperback. It's a question that Christians have been asking for thousands of years: What is heaven like? Follow Jesse, a six-year-old boy, as he talks to his dad about what they can expect in heaven in this heartfelt story told in the tradition of The Great Divorce, a classic allegorical tale by C.S. Lewis about a bus ride from hell to heaven. Richard R Eng shares fresh metaphors and vivid illustrations to guide parents and children to a Biblical and beautiful theology of heaven. The author wrote this book after he and his wife faced an unexpected pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage. They were going to name their unborn child Jesse, and this tale is an imaginative conversation between the author and the boy his unborn baby might have become. In it, he tells his son that heaven is more than just not having bad things. "It will be filled with all goodness," he says. Join the author as he explores the nature of life and death as well as the true meaning of salvation.
