From the creator of Taking a Bath With the Dog comes a fanciful heroine--and a wry look at a world where objects are footloose and fancy-free. She and her mom are almost home, but this little girl is soooooo tired! Her legs hurt, and even the lure of fresh cupcakes isn't enough for her to take another step. Why can't the house have legs and walk to them? For that matter, what if everything had legs? With her imagination running wild--and visions of worms with wiggly toes, rakes that jump into leaves, rolls that rock, and other high-stepping surprises--will a little girl's legs get the boost they need to carry her the rest of the way.
